SeaTheChange by being the change.

SeaTheChange ;the marine conservation arm of BeTheChange Barbados, a non-profit organization created by passionate individuals inspired by the Pachamama Alliance wishing to create and be the change in Barbados. This organization stands on three major pillars; environmental sustainability, spiritual fulfillment and social justice which help to drive and guide the community in effecting positive change on a day-to-day basis.

My name is Nikola and for those of you who may know me, I would not say that story-telling is one of my strongest points but here goes....

I have created this spot in dedication to my favourite place in the World: the sea! I hope to raise awareness and increase education about this amazing environment, both on a local and at a global scale and show how each one of you can help to play a part in being the change. Once I dive into the sea, I am in another World and wish to share part of my journey with you.

Some of the things that you can expect to see on this space in the future include but are not limited to: the ecological, cultural and economical importance of the sea to billions in the World including ourselves, who heavily depend on this resource every day in some form or fashion and information on the marine life found on our rock including what to do if you see or come into contact with amazing creatures such as hatchling turtles, lion fish or happen to be a part of a rare marine mammal stranding.
